June, already!

I can't believe it's already June!
And pretty much the middle.
Where is my life going?!

I didn't go to the rodeo.
Already not fulfilling my list.
Gar.

Graduation day tomorrow
Three of them.....it's going to be a crazy long day.
But exciting. Can't believe that the girls are graduating
from High School.

June already......one more month and I inch closer to 30
eek!

One Year

It's been one year.
One year ago I said goodbye to the city of good neighbors
boarded a plane
and made my way back to california.

I Want To:

go camping this summer. I never was fond of it when I was younger, not that I did a lot of camping....only in Girl Scouts. But I walk down the aisles full of tents and camping gear and I want to go. a couple of friends to go along with would be nice.

go to the rodeo. I haven't been since I was in the 4th grade. Which is sort of odd since there's one here in Santa Maria every June. Granted when I was younger I was at the mercy of my mom who I don't think was a fan. I think it would be fun to go again.

travel more. honestly. I think moving back has made me slightly sheltered again. now I have a car, so I don't have an excuse right? where should I travel to though.
i'm thinkin vegas....or maybe somewhere closer

find people. how do you do this when you're almost late twenty something and not in school?
crafting group...are there any around and how do I find them?

get organized. I pretend to be, but man alive my room is a disaster. i'm just not motivated....I miss having space.

be a better saver. hmmm...yeah. I suck at saving, budgeting, not spending money when I'm not supposed to.

move into my own place. that goes with being a better saver though I suppose. well, that and I've got to get my new job groove on and get more money in my bank account.

visit my people in Buffalo. It's almost been a year! I miss them!

i hate having a cold. they sort of just come on. one minute you can breath, the next moment
you can feel fluids just draining into your throat. attractive right? right.

getting more excited for my seattle/portland trip. i just need to figure out what to pack. i'm wishing my itouch hadn't been stolen....it would have been perfect for this trip. oh well.

long work week.....the kids have minimum days all week which means we have them for an extra 1.5 hours. it might not seem like a long time but it is!

i'm ready for friday and it's only the end of tuesday.

26 year old finally gets her license. It's a miracle.

The freedom is nice. Now I just have to find myself an inexpensive car.


A few weekends ago I went to winter camp with the HS youth group.
It was an amazing weekend, and it was nice to see the kids in a place where


quite a few of them let down their guard and just worship and praise God.


When we left the vehicle I was in made a stop. A great stop.
We (2 of us...the leaders) walked the trail to the General Grant Sequoia.


It's size is just amazing.....and the fact that it is about 1,700 years old just makes standing in its presence
breathtaking
